Download final files

Open the client portal, listen to the published delivery, and download the final package when it is enabled.

Last reviewed 4 September 2026

Final files appear in the client portal after the studio publishes a delivery. The portal shows the current published package for the project. It can let you listen in the browser, download one ZIP package, or both.

The portal shows the published delivery, its package tree, and the single package download action.

Open the delivery

  1. Open the client portal link from the studio.
  2. If Mixhaus asks you to verify access, enter the email address the studio added as a client contact, select Send code, and enter the six-digit code from your email. The code expires after 10 minutes. You can request a new one if it expires.
  3. Open the project and select Deliveries. Select Listen or download if you are coming from the portal dashboard.

The delivery page shows Final delivery, a Ready badge, and counts for its audio files, spatial files, additional files, and stems. Open Package contents to see the folder layout and files before downloading.

Listen before downloading

Select Play beside a playable file in Package contents. Playback and download are separate permissions. The studio may let you listen without enabling the package download, and some additional files are download-only.

Stems appear in the package contents when the studio included them. You may also see spatial presentations alongside the main spatial master. The available files depend on what the studio published.

Download the package

  1. Select Download package.
  2. Save the ZIP file when your browser asks where to put it.
  3. Open the ZIP and use the folders and filenames shown in Package contents.

Mixhaus downloads the current delivery as one package. The package can include audio masters, spatial files, stems, and extra files from the studio. It includes a Mixhaus Delivery Manifest.txt file with each path, file size, and checksum so you can check the copy you received.

The Download package button appears only when the studio enabled downloads and the delivery is still available. There may be no individual download button for each file.

Confirm that you received everything

After you check the ZIP, select I’ve received everything and confirm. Mixhaus tells the studio Delivery received and records that you confirmed the complete package. This confirmation is separate from downloading. Use it only after the files are safely with you.

Expected result

You can play the files the studio made available for listening and, when enabled, save the current final package locally. The portal shows only the current published delivery. If the studio replaces or revokes a delivery, ask for the new delivery rather than relying on an older link.

What happens next

Keep your downloaded copy in the place you use for project files. The portal is not a permanent archive. The studio can revoke or replace a delivery, and project retention can make it unavailable. If you need the files again after that, ask the studio for a new delivery or another transfer.

Common problems

  • No final deliveries yet means the studio has not published a final package for this project, or it is not available to your contact. Ask the studio when the delivery will be ready.
  • Download package is missing when downloads are disabled or the delivery is no longer the current available package. Ask the studio to enable or republish the delivery.
  • Verify your client portal access to download this package means your portal session is missing. Verify again with the invited contact email.
  • This delivery is unavailable means the delivery was revoked, replaced, or is not available to your project anymore. Ask the studio for the current portal link.
  • No files are available in this package means the published package has no downloadable files. Ask the studio to check its delivery contents.
  • If Mixhaus says This delivery changed. Refresh it before confirming receipt, refresh the delivery page and check the package again before selecting I’ve received everything.
  • If the review page shows Downloads are disabled for this review, use the client portal's final delivery. Review downloads and final package downloads are separate controls.
